From the middle of September until the end of
October 2011, 25 paintings and four drawings
of Heisig were exhibited in the show rooms
of »ROSENDAHL, THÖNE & WESTPHAL«.
A farewell present to my successors.

At the end of the year I will withdraw my
honorary partnership. In all friendship.
As evidenced by this exhibition. |

Though, first and foremost, this exhibition was meant
as an hommage to an important friend and great artist.
An attempt to visualise the magnitude of his art in
an intimate setting and to show the exceptional force
and intensity of his paintings and drawings.

|
|
|
Wilfried Meyer has photographed the exhibition
in order to present the paintings in the "wonderful
world of the worldwide web."
Photographs cannot replace the paintings.
Nevertheless: A rewarding review into a small
exhibition. But into a great work of art.
